Emerald Forest Holiday Makeup Look

Hey you!
The holiday's are upon us which means we have to look glamorous for all of the pictures we will be taking! For my first holiday makeup look of 2015, I wanted to do something simple, yet sultry! Green has been my favorite go to smokey eye lately because it is a bit more wearable than an intense black smokey eye and of course easier to achieve! For me this year I wanted the holiday looks that I came up with to be simple, effortless but still glamorous and most importantly not take you hours to achieve. So I hope you enjoy this first holiday look and that you give a try! Happy holidays!
Be safe & Be you!

Ulta Makeup Haul | Cruelty-Free Makeup

Hey you!
So I have been thinking about converting my channel as well as this blog into a cruelty-free zone for a long time and it is finally time to do so! I have always wanted this channel and blog to be cruelty-free but unfortunately the larger makeup companies, especially in the drugstore test on animals. I really struggled because as a beauty blogger you want to talk about the new and exciting things that are coming out and they aren't always from cruelty free company's. In purchasing from these companies I knew I wasn't being true to myself so I thought enough was enough, I am putting my foot down and only purchasing from companies I believe in. I know that this decision is not something everyone supports and I completely understand, but I want you to know I am not trying to push this idea on anyone. Nothing will change, only the products I use, I won't even mention it in videos only in the description box. SO enough rambling if you would like to see all the new makeup I will be using in my videos please view the video down below! Thank you so much for reading.

NEW Limited Edition Wet N Wild Here's to the Wild Ones Collection

Hey YOU!
SO I stopped by walgreens just to see what was new in store and I came across this Here's to the Wild One's Collection. I was so excited to see the bold colors, because of course they're my favorite!
Along with the lipsticks there are nail polish, mascaras and some eyeshadow palettes. But for the purpose of this post we will be focusing on the lipsticks! There are a total of 6 shades ranging from a medium pink to a bold deep grape. So I grabbed one of each and brought them home straight away! I have to say I am little disappointed in the formula of these lipsticks. Although they are creamer, the pigmentation is lacking. The original formula of their lipsticks is very pigmented and very matte. There are really the opposite, they have a satin finish and you have to swipe them a couple of times for a full color pay off. Overall I would say if you like creamy lipsticks then pick them up, but if you're like me and like the original formula I would skip these. Thank you so much for reading, now enjoy some pictures!
Be safe and be YOU!

How To: Highlight and Contour

Hey you!
SO, you want to learn how to highlight and contour huh? Well I think it's actually pretty easy once you get the hang of it! I think the key to highlighting and contouring is to BLEND! This makeup trend doesn't seem to be going anywhere and why would it? If you do it correctly it can make you look like you've lost 10 pounds! There are tons of videos on how to highlight and contour but I thought I should make one to show you guys that it is not a scary as it looks! If you have a special event to go to I would suggest trying this out but practice before hand so you get the placement correct! Make sure to follow your own face structure don't try to replicate someone else's facial features unless that was your intention then by all means go for it! But if you are just looking to add structure to your already beautiful face follow the directions of placement for your own face and you should get it in no time! Remember to blend I honestly can not stress that enough, blending really is key and if you have a beauty sponge the process should be much easier! However you can use a brush as well and you can still look chiseled! Thank you so much for watching!
