How To: Highlight and Contour

Hey you!

SO, you want to learn how to highlight and contour huh? Well I think it's actually pretty easy once you get the hang of it! I think the key to highlighting and contouring is to BLEND! This makeup trend doesn't seem to be going anywhere and why would it? If you do it correctly it can make you look like you've lost 10 pounds! There are tons of videos on how to highlight and contour but I thought I should make one to show you guys that it is not a scary as it looks! If you have a special event to go to I would suggest trying this out but practice before hand so you get the placement correct! Make sure to follow your own face structure don't try to replicate someone else's facial features unless that was your intention then by all means go for it! But if you are just looking to add structure to your already beautiful face follow the directions of placement for your own face and you should get it in no time! Remember to blend I honestly can not stress that enough, blending really is key and if you have a beauty sponge the process should be much easier! However you can use a brush as well and you can still look chiseled! Thank you so much for watching!

NEW! Milani Limited Edition Amore Matte Lip Creme review (with swatches)

I AM BEYOND EXCITED!

Milani came out with these amazing lip creme's that are essentially a liquid lipstick that dries to a matte finish. My OH my are these beautiful! There are a total of 8 shades in the collection, 4 neutral shades ranging from brown to nude and 4 more intense shades from berry to burgundy. I only picked up 6 of the 8 shades. I skipped the last two because one was extremly nude (adore) and the other was the darkest in the range (flirt) I skipped because I have only hear bad reviews on it. I will cut straight to the chase you need these in your life if you are a liquid lipstick lover such as myself! They are opaque and velvety matte! So keep reading for details!!

PROS:

Opaque

Light-weight

Dries quickly

Comfortable wear

Easy to apply wand

Isn't drying on the lips

CONS:

Not the longest lasting liquid lipstick

Certain shades can be streaky

It will start to flake off

OVERALL: B+
